Job Orders

StaffSoft’s Job Orders module is where you enter job orders (descriptions of positions to be filled), search for candidates for positions, place candidates in permanent positions, assign candidates to temporary positions, enter information about candidates’ absences from work, and view placement information. You can also produce a record of account development information (for billing).

Think of the Job Order module as being the control center of StaffSoft’s search and placement operation. Many of the functions performed in the screens within the Job Order module are inter-relational to other modules within the system. To maximize StaffSoft’s functionality the Job Orders module should be used.

From either Job Order screen, you can do the following tasks:

Enter and retrieve job orders, skills, industry, and educational requirements for job orders.

Edit, print, and delete job orders.

Specify a Payroll (PR) and/or an Accounts Receivable (AR) department.

Change the assignment or ownership of recruiters to job orders.

Search and retrieve on open permanent jobs or open or partially filled temporary jobs.

Sort on and search for job orders in a variety of ways.

Create User-Defined fields.

Assign temporary workers to positions; view their employment status on a day-to-day, shift-by-shift basis; and enter information about candidates’ absences from work, including excused absences, no shows, and assignment refusals.

See at-a-glance the fill rate on a temporary job on any given date.

Use the Active Job Orders Only option to view open and current job orders.

Print lists of candidates and temporary workers
